You're the closest Drupaller to me that I've seen. We need to find some more and then maybe we could get a local user's group going. :)
It looks like you have quite a bit of content on your site... That's something I'm really lacking as I've been so focused on getting the infrastructure up. I see you have Google ads on it. How long did it take you to get an account? I've been waiting over a week and still haven't heard anything.
I'll have to give your site a good looking over when I have a bit more time. Feel free to steal any ideas from mine that you like since our sites are basically the same thing for different areas. :) Between us we have a good chunck of western Wisconsin covered!

Banner Graphic Cleanup
The left side of the banner has visible dithering, which is a consequence of resizing and/or lowering the quality of a JPEG image of solid color next to text. If the original text graphic is available as gif, png, or psd, resize it to the needed dimensions, convert to JPEG and then recombine with the photo side of the banner. Use Photoshop or similar tool to cleanup the edges.

Your site is a good design for something I am working on for Washington's Olympic Peninsula: http://www.olypen.info/ I have been busy gathering content and I am just getting started with the layout design. I will emphasize the natural resources in a geographic context with available businesses in the vicinity of destinations.
