Berkeley Drupal Group - THURSDAY September 27th Meeting
Greetings Bay Area Druplers,
Our next meeting will be THURSDAY, September 27th, Noon-1:30 at 290 HMMB, UC Berkeley (note the change of day from our usual Wednesday time slot)
This month - Developing Drupal Sites at UC Berkeley.
Rob and Tracy, from Quiddities are going to talk about the sites they have developed at UCB (including the College of Arts and Science) and the trials and tribulations of Drupal and the campus bureaucracy.
Also, BADCamp '07 is coming! Are you ready?
Directions at: http://drupal.citris-uc.org/about/bdug
Update: Whoops, Rob and Tracy will not be talking CalNet, but we might still have a semi-spontanious conversation about the CalNet module Rob Barreca built for the BigIdeas site (http://cvs.drupal.org/viewvc.py/drupal/contributions/modules/calnet/)
Highlights: Once again, we had over 40 people show up, and lots of campus folk this month which is very cool. Thanks to Rob & Tracy for their great presentation. We heard from Vahid at IS&T that they are doing a pilot program to look at offering more support for CMS, including Joomla and Drupal! I found out about Calnet CAS and the drupal cas.module. And we had a surprise guest appearance from sime, on route from Barcelona to Australia, by way of Google.
