Brief description: This session will present architectural considerations for developing mobile applications with Drupal. It focuses on design patterns and platform integration.

• Intro to Mobile
• Intro to Services Module
• Walk through Services Module basic setups, user interface, and perform simple tests
• Intro to mobile dev framework: PhoneGap, Titanium API, DrupalCloud, KBDrupalConnect
• Intro to OAuth and REST architecture
• Q & A

About the Presenter: Jingsheng Wang (skyred) built the BeerCloud application on Android and iPhone, using Drupal as the backend ( published Drupal case study: Drupal + Services Module + Beer = BeerCloud on Android and iPhone). He also makes contribution to the Services module and its related projects. Also, recently skyred was on the panel for a DrupalCon SF session: Drupal as a web services platform using the Services module hosted by heyrocker (maintainer of Services module).
