Hey All,
Time for the July meetup already!
I couldn't find a speaker, so you'll be getting another sweet jaygordo (TM) presentation. Lately I've been spending a lot of time with Amazon AWS and I'd like to present what I've learned for those of you who are into that sort of thing. The main topics will be:
- Amazon S3
- Amazon EC2 and AMIs
- Amazon CloudFront
- Amazon EBS
- The Amazon AWS console
- S3Fox (firefox plugin for managing your files on S3)
I'll discuss these things in relation to how I've actually been using them. As per usual the discussion will be pretty informal, questions are gratefully accepted at any time, and there will be pizza and water.

rjbrown99 has announced elsewhere that Amazon is hosting a Cloud for the Enterprise event on July 20th.
It will be focused on scaling a relatively little known application called "reddit" on EC2 but still may be of interest to people in the Drupal community. :)
For anyone interested in Drupal on AWS, I recommend seeing Barry Jaspan's Challenges of hosting Drupal on AWS session at DrupalCon San Francisco. I think it's the best presentation ever made about cloud hosting.

I am assuming that this is 7PM not 7AM as the calendar suggests.
Great topic
But seems like I missed out. Did the session get recorded Jason? If so, will it be made available?
