Drupalisters in Zimbabwe

For a while I thought there where no active Drupal users in Zimbabwe...but as evidenced by the response to nicopamoja's post it looks like we're all but dead.

I think it's good that we know each other...so that we can help each other when needed...or team up for major jobs. You know these days it's all virtual...as evidenced by Lullabot. It all happens online. Who knows...maybe we can have our own Drupal meet someday.

Showcase Dating site - contributions and ideea are highly appreciated

http://drupal.org/node/867158
A list of modules is attached to this post.
I have some difficulties with Views and Panel Panes when trying to have a detailed profile for users (avatar, etc) (following the book Ultimate Community Site Guide) but I am optimist.
Are there anybody experimenting with Views, Panels, panes who could guide me?
The book seems to not be updated, or some modules have been changed since the book (second edition - last one) was released.

Drupaltherapy gets married with Feed API

Drupaltherapy has been on the back burner for a good couple of months while I prepared to get hitched on September 12, 2009. It was a nice affair, held at an outdoor education and retreat center equipped with canoes, kayaks, archery, zip lines, kickball fields, square dances, and a whole bunch of other things that make weekend weddings fun for family and friends.

What is making us very happy right now is our use of Drupal as the platform for our wedding website and the use of some specific modules that are doing some cool things for us, too.

May I introduce...

Hello All,

I'm posting today for two reasons. The first is to introduce myself.
I've been a coder in the South Sound for about the last ten years. Most
of my work has been DB driven web sites/applications. I didn't start
working with Drupal until about two years ago. As my artsy self portrait
shows, I am also an amateur photographer.

The second reason is to brag a bit. My business partner Doug and I have
created a Drupal driven website aimed at racing sailors. You can see the
showcase article he wrote and/or visit
