Easy authentication for children and adults?

Hi all,

I am trying to think of ways that users of all ages can register and authenticate on a site without the traditional username/password. Examples like clicking on a series of images, dragging colored blocks into a sequence, or other 'brain friendly' methods would be great.

What are your thoughts on and experiences with 'passwordless' authentication? What are some solutions that have become popular? What are some innovative ideas that need testing?

Cheers!

Hey, guys. Some good news: James over at Sensis is going to be submitting a UX presentation from his team through the site. Wireframes! - Rules UX reloaded by fluxkraft

As introduced recently we've started working on a new Rules UI as part of the fluxkraft project.

So after quite some planning and discussion we came up with some wireframes that should show how we imagine the new Rules UI to work. The wireframes are not very detailed - expect the details to change - but still the wireframes should show the overall idea.

So let's have a look at them and discuss :-)

D8 Core Style Guide (Icons)

This discussion seeks to expand on existing discussions and activities to define guidelines for the Human Interface of Drupal 8.x

The genesis of this discussion is an observation that the current User Interface Standards don't provide any guidance on this subject.

It appears there are a couple of new use cases for icons within the Drupal UI related to the following;

  • Dialog Boxes
  • Toolbar Module
  • Overlay

I believe we can expand on the existing documentation and provide core developers and UI designers with important standards.
