Aggregation Module

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.
This group should probably have more organizers. See documentation on this recommendation.

This group's main objective is to function as an announcement board for the aggregation module.

New releases, request for collaboration on specific ideas, and everything that may be of interest to the aggregation users/contributors alike will be discussed here.

Please don't hesitate to write anything on your mind over here. The issue list is the place for issues, but this is the place for ideas that have yet to mature to the point of becoming well defined issues.

I'll begin by apologizing for the delays in implementing the many wonderful feature requests that I've received. Rest assured they will be implemented as soon as I can. The reason for this delay is that I have recently quit my job and am currently looking for one.

I am also looking for sponsorship for this module, so I ask anyone who is interested in this module and capable of sponsoring it to step up. Regardless of weather it's sponsored or not, development will continue, but a little slower than I hope to move on. Any sponsorship is greatly appreciated no matter how little it is.

Let me know what you have in mind and stay tuned for more updates!

With Regards,
Ashraf Amayreh

introduce a high performance free hosting (for drupal)--sae---a GAE like China project , i just finished deploy drupal 6 there

ok , example first to prove that i am telling the truth : http://trackself.sinaapp.com/ just feel its speed!

[background:]
1.SAE: sina app engine , belong to sina.com (China), it's a service like google app engine ,but provide PHP hosting and mysql hosting and more! well , i think it's better than GAE, because i only know php but not python/java. It declare itself cloud service. And better than GAE, it use SVN.
2.Since it offer php and mysql hosting , drupal can be hosted. But a little hack to install.php , nothing more hack

Aggregation Feed Items seemed cached in Views

I submitted a bug report to the Views group. I'm being directed that this is an Aggregation.module issue.

My bug report can be found here: http://drupal.org/node/182164

Basically, new Feed Items don't appear to anonymous users. Logged-in users see the latest Feed Items. It's as if the Feed Items are cached to anonymous users.

How are you using the Aggregation module?

I'd like everyone to share how they are using the Aggregation module on their site. Let's inspire others so that interest will build. Yes, I know you can import feeds and create more nodes. But what are you doing with the nodes? What are you importing? Why are you importing?

On my personal website (http://ericatkins.com), I'm using the Aggregation module to make my website my life hub. I'm involved in a ton of social network websites like Facebook, del.icio.us. Flickr, DIGG, Twitter, etc.

How would you make separate themes for each feed?

I would like to have some Aggregation feeds look different than other feeds. I'd like to import them via the aggregation module and then put them on the front page. I'd like personal feeds from, say, del.icio.us to look different (different layout, different .css) than a feed from Flickr.

I'm looking for a way to do this without writing a bunch of PHP "if" statements in node-aggregation_item.tpl.php.

Does anyone have any ideas?
