We're trying something new this month - a social only meetup! There will be no formalities or sessions, just come over to the pub to have a chat or a drink.
We've got space booked upstairs at Trinity Bar in Surry Hills. If you are new to the community, just look for the group with the most laptops per person. Feel free to bring your laptop or just some questions, if you need help or advice.

Happy New Year Everyone!
We'll be doing something a little different for the first meetup of 2014.
Firstly, we'll be celebrating Drupal turning 13 years old! Drupal 1.0 was released on Jan 15th, 2001. See the post from the DA for a few more details about other activities including Dries's Reddit AMA and a birthday sprint for anyone interested.
The second thing we'll be doing is discussing ideas and making plans for the rest of 2014. If you're new to the group, don't be put off, your input into these discussions are important too. It will also be a good time to socialise and talk shop for people less interested in making plans.
Also, please take 2-3 mins and fill out a very short feedback form, it will be really helpful, especially if you can't make it to the meeting. https://drupalsydney.webform.com/form/10312
To facilitate a more relaxed atmosphere, we'll be meeting at the Royal Exhibition Hotel near Central Station.
Some of our longer term members may remember this pub from some of our earlier meetup days. Its relaxed enough for us to chat and there are food options as well. Depending on the group size, we may move to the upstairs balcony terrace.

We're holding a core dev sprint in Perth on the 19th January at our office.
Any questions before the day can be sent to me via my drupal.org contact form or our website.
