We are running a sprint weekend at the Zoocha office in Hertford for Drupal Global Sprint Weekend 2016.

The office will be open for sprints on Saturday 30th (10:00 - 17:00).

Everyone of all levels are welcome - we're happy to help people get set up to contribute!

Zoocha will be providing food and drink.

Dreamweaver's .php code colouring applied to .module files... there is a useful nugget!

I have been frustrated when editing .module and other non .php suffixed files that Dreamweaver doesn't colour code?! So here is how to make Dreamweaver do so.

  • In Dreamweaver's application directroy follow to here: Configuration\DocumentTypes\MMDocumentTypes.xml
  • In here (MMDocumentTypes.xml file) you should find the lines of code which list the currently accepted suffix formats for php colours to be applied to.
    Something like this: winfileextension="php,php3,php4" or "macfileextension="php,php3,php4"

    Is the core profile module dead?

    I came to a cross roads when I began working on a site and needed the users profile to be rich with juicy content. When I actually had a look at how much Drupal's profile module could do out of the box, I was sadly let down. After doing some research and listening to the 'Deprecated' Lullabot podcast; here are some conclusions I have come to (please let me know if you disagree):
