Email a file as an attachment
I have a client that has a site that shares documents with their customers. They also want to be able to click on that file and send it as an attachment to a third party. You can easily send the link to the file. Has anyone ever tried attaching it? Is it even possible?

Read moreFresh theme
Hi,
I tried to load the Fresh theme (http://drupal.org/project/fresh) to my Drupal dashboard, but I got these error messages:
HTTP error -13 occurred when trying to fetch http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/fresh-7.x-1.4.tar.gz.
Unable to retrieve Drupal project from http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/fresh-7.x-1.4.tar.gz.
I tried to install with this URL: http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/fresh-7.x-1.4.tar.gz and I tried http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/fresh-7.x-1.4.zip.
I also tried to save those files to my computer and then upload, but I got the same errors.

This month's presentation will focus on demystifying Drupal. Often developers feel that Drupal is a "black box", doing mystical things behind the scenes.
Learn how to find out what Drupal is actually doing, and focus on activity in one subsystem or another (e.g., form processing or database interactions).

Hi all I can't get an image to be set as Background. I have installed the Background Images Module 7.x-1.0, and to my knowledge have it configured, but cant seem to get an image to be set to the background. If anyone has suggestions that would be great. Or a step by step for a noob would be amazing. I am leaning a lot and really starting to love Drupal!
Running Drupal 7.22
Also where do you guys meet every week same place or does it change?
Thanks in advance,

Read moreWebform not working
I am working on a site for a client. I created the site on their new hosting plan using a dummy domain during development. When we went live, we switched the nameservers and the primary domain for the hosting plan. Everything worked great. Except now Webform doesn't work at all. It just reloads the form page. No submissions get recorded and no emails get sent.
Any ideas on what might have caused this and how to fix it? I have tried everything I can think of (reinstalling the module, installing a different version, clearing cache, running update.php, etc). Nothing seems to work.
Read moreSearch is the new Navigation
Note: Change to Thursday night. 7pm, Feb 28th.
Menus as a means to finding content are fundamentally flawed in two ways:
-
They is a one to one relationship with content such that the number of menu items is directly tied to number of nodes. This is not scalable as content grows.
-
Creating navigation from a system that basically only allows for one mental path way to any one item is limited. This is not scalable to multiple perspectives, types of audiences or more than one way to find something.
Investigating Intranet: Modules, Themes, and Approaches
Different bat time and same place, you say? Yes, we have moved to the last Thursday of every month instead of Mondays. Schedules have changed and we are giving this a whirl.
Meeting:
We will be spending the first hour chatting it up about any questions, comments surrounding Drupal. It's "all in", so bring your questions about Drupal projects you are working on. If we can prevent you from buying a new stress ball, it's a win!
