This group will try to be a meeting place to exchange ideas about sharing information between Drupal and different metaverses like OpenSimulator, SecondLife, imvu, there, and any other virtual world that can be able to share data on the web.
question about d4os
Hi you all,
... i don't know if this is the place to ask my question, but maybe someone can help me out.
i've installed opensim and drupal 7 on a ubuntu server it all runs fine, so i want an web admin. I've installed d4os and configured the db settings etc.., i can't access any page because i got the mysql error tables are missing. the tables wich are missing :
opensim.Presence
opensim.semaphore
opensim.sessions
and when i look into my mysql opensim db, the tables are NOT there, did i miss some modules in my opensim ?

New D4OS release
hello world
i have released a new d4os version.
i did not have time to rewrite everyting during 2011 because irl job, but i could do it now :)
this version is still using drupal 6 (i would write a d7 version later, but i dont know when)
this version was completely rewritten from scratch.
the new code is lighter and the grid users are separated from the drupal users so people can register on the website without creating an account on the grid.
this new version is no more compatible with opensim < 0.7
Metaverse module
Once upon a time, I made a Drupal module called metaverse. It's a sort of update of the secondlife module. It had a home at github.
But now, it's a sandbox project on drupal.org! Woot!
http://drupal.org/sandbox/Mile23/1098076 is the place to be. You can file issues and patches there as with any d.o project. Since it's a sandbox project, it's only available through git.

hello all
here is the idea i have for the moment :
create an universal module to link users to any metaverse (or website)
to do this, we need :
- an entity linked to the user to manage external profile (the different systems can be additionnal modules creating only a bundle for this entity)
- an entity to manage terminals (connector) or other ways to communicate between inworld and drupal
- an universal way to exchange values between metaverses and drupal (a kind of json or something like that)
