Alan Burke joins Annertech

In lieu of an announcement in the social and personal section of the Irish Times, I felt that this was as good medium as any to announce the big news:

From today, myself and Stella are joining forces at Annertech.

The backstory.

I've been using Drupal since 2005, first as a hobby, then as a part of my work at CompuSquad and for the last 4 years, full time at my job at Proactive, Design & Marketing. Myself and Stella met back in 2008 at Drupalcamp Galway, and we've already joined forces over the last couple of years to help put various Drupalcamps together.

Stella was aware I was looking for a new challenge, so when she suggested I join her at Annertech, it was an easy decision.

I'm still looking after a number of projects at Proactive for the forseeable future.

The Future.

I look forward to taking on some bigger challenges in the months and years ahead. One thing we've committed to is supporting and growing the Drupal community here in Ireland, and we see this as critical to our success as a Drupal company.

As a first step, we're working to help make DrupalCamp Dublin a big success and we'll both be presenting over the weekend.
