Adding Terms/Vocabs to Group??

I (along with a few others) have been asked to help better the groups page for our New Hampshire DUG.

I've setup multiple panels pages, and have been able to figure out most of the little details of setting up the panels (without knowing what the views are expecting) (thanks to some good posts in this group)

However, I'm attempting to let our users classify their content by region. While we are a small state population wise, the distance for many users to travel to our main meetup is too much, so there are now 3 meetups monthly in New Hampshire.

I'd like for these "sub-groups" to be able to tag their posts so that different views/panes can be added to be relevant to the specific regions in our group.

However, when visiting the taxonomy page, it gives the information on what terms/vocabs do... (lol) but does not give me (or Seth) the ability to add any terms/vocabs to start classifying content.

Do you see an "Add Vocabulary" link on the OG Vocab page under the New Hampshire Taxonomy tab? If you don't, there might be a permissions bug. Those should be reported at http://drupal.org/project/issues/groupsdrupalorg

I did a Drupal Dojo presentation recently where I demonstrated how to combine terms created with OG Vocab with the og_recent_type_term view that's available to group admins here on groups.drupal.org. The audio didn't turn out very well but I hope the video is helpful.
