The seventh Brevard County Drupal meetup will take place on Wednesday, November 10 at 7pm in downtown Melbourne. This is a change from our usual Thursday meetup - Thursday is Veterans' Day.
The meetup will take place at the offices of Radiant Blue - 516 East New Haven Avenue. As part of the agreement to use their facilities, everyone walking through the door must sign the visitor's sheet. For this meetup, there will not be WiFi access, but we will have access to a presentation screen and there will be one computer with internet connectivity. Since I'll be presenting, this won't be a problem. There will most likely be WiFi access at future meetups at this location.
Ben Hosmer will be presenting a walk-through of the Charts module.

@ultimike: I know they have security with their wifi at Radiant Blue, so I will bring my laptop and the charts drupal install on a thumb drive just in case. I can't remember if they let us use their wifi or not. If there will be a computer to use with a MAMP installation I can just copy the site onto it from my thumb drive.

Yeah, Scottie's computer will be able to access the internet - I don't think it'll be a problem for you to share his laptop.

We ended up having a small meetup last night - only 4 of us were able to attend.
We went over both the "Chart API" (http://www.drupal.org/project/chart) and "Charts" (http://drupal.org/project/charts) module - thanks to Ben for setting up the various demos. In the end, we decided we preferred the "Charts" module - it seems more stable and offered more features (it isn't limited to using Google Charts).
