Design is very much a visual art, right?
So, it's a challenge to do much discussing about designing for drupal without images to illustrate the point.
So, I've created a group on flickr just for us.
http://www.flickr.com/groups/drupaldesigners/
Feel free to join that group if you're a flickr user.
Once you upload your images there, it's very simple to copy the thumbnail html code and paste it into your post over here... and the flickr code links back to the larger image on the flickr website. You can even modify the code to force it to open in a new window if you want.
This way we won't run into any limits on posting images within our discussions. And since this is a design group, I hope we'll have lots of example designs (images) in our posts.
I'd like to keep all the commenting and discussion taking place over here on groups.drupal.org... but I think we could utilize flickr just for storing the images.
Anyway... it's an idea... let me know what you think.
I'll be using it myself.

Flickr block for groups
I can look into making a block available for groups that will display a Flickr badge.
