November Meeting. Design, typography and then development - Tips and tricks for all.

• John Ferris gave a fantastic interactive demo on the effective use (and misuse) of typography and his favorite tools and settings.
• Dani Renaud shared www.balsamiq.com - an online wireframing tool.
• We discussed using Fireworks in the development of a Drupal theme.
• Ever hear of www.connectasketch.com? Check it out.
• You'll definitely learn something about the readability of your site by using the Firefox add-on: Colour Contrast Analyser.
• If you ever mysteriously lose content on your site, you might have lost the anonymous user 0. There is even a module that recreates that record on every cron run.

We are delighted to have a UCCS Student Chapter of SCUG. We will be having our December meeting on the UCCS campus. As we're hoping to attract a number of UCCS computer science, engineering and math students, the more experienced Drupal folks will give a broad "Introduction to Drupal" to get everyone on the same page.

Apologies to Stephen Monaco. We were going to work on one of Stephen's site using content types and views. A great way for folks with a little more experience to give others a big jump start.

For those who have more Drupal experience, Mike Potter will talk about "How to create a custom CCK formatter". As an example, we will create a PayPal ID field that displays itself as a PayPal "Add to Cart" button.

Location. We will be having our December meeting on the UCCS campus. Watch this space for the specific room and logistics.

Date. We usually meet on the first Tuesday of the month. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, December 7.

Time. Discussions will start at 6:30 pm, formally starting at 7 pm. We will end at around 9 pm.

p.s. There will be several local student internships that will be presented at the meeting.
