We had a good DUG meetup yesterday in seattle, i think about a dozen folks showed up, beer was drunk, pizza eaten, and drupal questions answered.
Some of the questions that came up that we discussed were
1) when is it time to use the new version of Drupal?
2) when to use contrib modules, vs build your own
3) what goes where? modules, themes (tpl or css), database
We'll be meeting again next month, 1st wednesday of the month, same time, same place.

It was great to meet you all. Thank you all for for an informative meeting and for putting up with, and answering, my newbie questions.
I plan to attend the next meetup in September and will try to spend a lot more time with Drupal and come loaded with more questions. :)
