Let's get a general meetup going. Drinks, talk and some devel maybe. Just a first kind of meet and greet.
I am thinking a Weekday night, somewhere in Tokyo.
Let me know if anyone out there would be up for this and has a good idea of where to meet at. I might hit up a pub in Takadanobaba and see if we can do it there, power and all that.
At the same time, if there is anyone out there that is interested in VPS server build, LAMP style...Ubuntu then I would love to get a mini work group going on this where we can build something nice. Someone who has experience out there?

I'm able to meet up after 8:30 on a week day.
Somewhere nearer Shibuya | Roppongi or Shinjuku is better though.

Agree with bensbury. Shib or the 6 trees or Shinjuku would work. Takadabobaba is not bad and will work in a pinch, but a bit too north.
I'm a bit late to this
I'm a bit late to this thread, but I'm interested in a meetup with other Drupal developers in Tokyo or Yokohama (my home base). I'm working as the in-house developer for a publishing company in Yokohama, but am quitting my job at the end of this month to go freelance full-time, so I'm interested in a bit of networking.
