Amazon FPS link

Just curious if anyone has integrated Drupal with Amazon's FPS. We are evaluating Drupal from a number of perspectives but we are looking at some microtransaction (<$10) business model which makes Amazon FPS appealing. Seems like there are links to Authorize.net but not yet to FPS?

Thanks in advance,
Brad

Sounds ideal but...

This would have been an ideal solution for one of our projects but:

Only U.S.-based customers are able to use Amazon Payments account and bank account transfers to send money from or receive money into their Amazon Payments accounts.

As far as I know nobody's looked at implementing this as part of the Amazon AWS API, but code contributions are always welcome.

You may also want to have a look at the payment gateways included in the ECommerce and Ubercart modules. On most merchant accounts the flat-rate transaction fee would be a little bit higher than FPS but the percentage taken is lower. So for orders of a couple dollars upwards, a standard merchant account may be very competitive.

Thanks

Thanks Simon, agreed. It does depend somewhat on our commerce patterns. If our needs do warrant FPS integration we will certainly contribute to the API.

Not actually that limited

"You can allow non-US customers to pay using credit cards (not Amazon Payments balance transfers or bank account at this time) for an additional charge of 1% of the transaction amount."
