How do most people approach updating core on their sites? My instinct is to wait 2 weeks after a release for people to come across any problems and to give maintainers time to release patches for the major modules. Is that reasonable or is the core code so rock-solid that I am waiting for no good reason?

I update based off the
I update based off the security risk. If I feel like the security updates on the core updates is relevant to my situation (unique user permissions) then i'll update pretty quickly. But if its not essential, I'll usually wait till I have the time to do a upgrade. Also, if necessary, a downgrade if things go wrong.
