If you haven't registered yet for DrupalCon Chicago, think about doing so today. Registering now not only saves you money by getting you the early bird pricing of $350, it also lets you shape the conference to your interests and needs by voting on the proposed presentations.
Only registered attendees can vote on the proposed sessions, and the voting deadline is this Friday, December 24th at 9am ET, according to http://chicago2011.drupal.org/news/drupalcon-chicago-session-selection-p...
There are a lot of great session proposals.Your vote will help determine which sessions receive a time slot, and help the event organizers know how big a room to allocate for each session.
This alert isn't completely selfless: I have a library-specific presentation that I am hoping to share. My team recently had the opportunity to build a public library site in Drupal--everything from design to development to ongoing support. The Millennium 2.0 library catalog integration module was released just in time for us to implement the catalog into Drupal and we believe that showing off the awesomeness of its features on a live working site, and walking through the implementation process, will be both valuable and useful. Libraries all over the world will want to convert to Drupal and implement Millennium 2.0.
Please vote for us -- http://chicago2011.drupal.org/sessions/millennium-2-0-integration-public... -- and feel free to suggest other sessions that you think will make DrupalCon Chicago awesome.
