I currently have a site in Joomla! and, after taking a look at what Drupal offers, am now considering moving over. Thing is, I know Squat Zero about Drupal except what I'm trying to pick up over the nenmatsu-nenshi holidays. I have tons of questions about Drupal. I like what I see so far.
My needs are relatively simple, but I need to find out if Drupal is right for what we want to do.
I'm in Kansai for the holidays (near Himeji), but home base is Yokohama. Anyone available for a quick chat in Kansai through the holidays (until 3 Jan), or in Kanto otherwise?

I'm not the expert you're looking for - I'm new to Drupal as well - but in the Kansai area and would love to join in on a meeting like that and a few beers, if we can get anyone who is actually knowledgeable.
I DO have a friend in Nishinomiya who is not in this group but is a Drupal aficianado - perhaps I can arrange a meeting for us all in Kobe.

Hey - thanks for the reply. The 29th or 2nd/3rd would be best as the calendar with the in-laws has filled up pretty quickly. It would be awesome if we could meet up for a few beers. I am in Himeji now, but can shoot to Kobe with no problem. I go back to Kanto on the 4th.
