So its official D7 goes out on the 5th of January. The community is encouraging the group to get buzzing and plan a Release Party for the 7th all across the world. Apparently @AlexU_A is visiting Jamaica and is having his own Launch Party there in Negril, anyone who would be by that side can give him a link on twitter. Not to be outdone the JADRUG should have our own launch party to celebrate the biggest thing to ever happen to Drupal.
Unfortunately the 7th is out for me, the 5th and 6th are pretty fine. I would like to know if there is enough interest for us to have Release Party to just chat, with some Pizza and juice and talk about the future past and present of Drupal.
Reply here in the group to let us know the interest level and so we can sort out the details in terms of date and location, besides we havent had a monthly meeting in a while, lets get together and welcome in the new year and the New Drupal!

We normally meet on a Wednesday at 6pm. Why not stick to that day and time? Should we put the Party to a vote.
The 7th is a Friday, people normally go to after work events, hang out with friends or observe the Sabbath. So that day may not be best.

Plus one good thing about being in Jamaica is that since it's a world wide celebration, it must be the 7th somewhere in the world(like Japan).
