Due to inclement weather, the MD group meetup for January has been cancelled. We will reschedule shortly.

Come out to the MD Drupal meetup and brainstorm for a future Maryland Drupal Camp. The MD Drupal meetup is occurring on January 26th at PMG's offices in Columbia.

The meetup starts around 7PM and round table discussions will begin at 7:30.

While we usually accept presentations, we'd like to keep this meetup open discussion. If you have something really interested to present, please contact Ron (ron@lithicmedia.com or 410-726-7869) to see if we can add a spot for presentations.

A couple of quick tips when coming to PMG for the meetup:

There is a big sign that marks the building for PMG. It reads "The Woodlands Two."
The last door on the right will be open.
We are on the second floor. The best way to get up to the second floor is through the stairs on the right as you walk in. If you can not use
the stairs please call the office (410 290 0667) and someone will come down with a keycard for the elevator.
Once you get upstairs, PMG will be the office right past the elevators.
There will be signs pointing the way!

Winter Storm Watch

Thought attendees should know about the weather conditions tomorrow. I'm still trying to go, but if things look cruddy around 2pm tomorrow, I might have to stay home (which really sucks). Things are supposed to hit freezing no later than 10pm... probably sooner.

... Winter Storm Watch in effect from Wednesday afternoon through late Wednesday night...

The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has issued a Winter Storm Watch... which is in effect from Wednesday afternoon through late Wednesday night.

Precipitation type... mainly snow... but possibly mixed with some sleet... freezing rain... or rain Wednesday.
Accumulations... 5 or more inches of snow possible.
Timing... starting just after noon east of the Appalachians... but closer to late afternoon in the Washington Baltimore suburbs. Ending after midnight from southwest to northeast Wednesday night.
Temperatures... mid 30s Wednesday afternoon... dropping to the mid to upper 20s Wednesday night.

Due to the weather (Chad, thanks for the heads up yesterday!) we are rescheduling the meetup. We will most likely reschedule for next Wednesday Feb. 2; however, this is not confirmed as of yet.

Thanks Ron. That's actually my wife who gets the credit there. She's an amateur meteorologist (whose dad is a hydrologist for FEMA). In fact, she was predicting a storm like this about a week ago. The early morning snow caught us by surprise and what a wallop we got thereafter! We're supposed to get a clipper on Friday, too, with a more inches of snow.

I hope everyone is safe and doesn't pull out their backs whilst digging out. :)
