Join us on Saturday, January 15th, 2010 from 1-3PM for a 2-hour meetup at MindComet's offices in Altamonte Springs.

I will be covering cool features in Drupal 7 as well as resources to help you learn Drupal (websites, podcasts, books). Please come with your favorite links to websites or Drupal book reviews so we can have a round table discussion about the best resources out there.

For the Programming

For the Programming committee, we will be going through the CFCS website specs that were collected, and coming up with a simple version of the site we can use to teach the Beginner Track.

We will then release this project on WebEnabled for all the trainers in the Beginner track to base their tutorials on - any other presenters will be encouraged to use this as a base project throughout the day.

I'm also going to be tasking people with sending out our promotional text to any relevant mailing lists or event-driven websites out there: Gary's Guide, Upcoming, Yelp, Plancast, etc.

2011 Website

I taught a nonprofit technology workshop this morning at Rollins College for 40 people from Central Florida - and invited them all to DrupalCamp.

It was hard telling them "don't visit the website until next weekend".

Therefore, I went into the 2010 site and added the text from Gwen A's press release to the home page, and turned off a bunch of blocks.

We should have done that weeks ago. No matter looking back though, it is done now.
