Hi all,
I am beginning to look for a web hosting service for a drupal-based website that I am developing. Though I don't care where the business or datacenters are located, I would still prefer to deal with a Canadian company. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend one from personal experience. Aside from being able to run a drupal 6.x site, I would want to be able to create cron jobs, have ssh access, and utilize sendmail. VPS is probably out of my budget, but I'm sure my requirements are modest enough to be hosted on a shared system.
Any input appreciated. Thanks.

Site5
I use site5.

I don't believe they're Canadian. But, they have the best Drupal friendly shared hosting I've worked with. Their servers even have drush installed by default. Cron, SSH access and sendmail are all available with them also.
happy hunting

Good local peeps with both Can and US options.
+1 EZP
I can recommend ezp, from personal experience. They show up to our Drupal meetups from time to time. Extra points for that.
I've heard a number of good
I've heard a number of good things about EZP recently, and though I only have a small client's site with them at present, Shane was happy to chat a bit about options with me. He said he would try to be as impartial as possible if I had questions about EZP--or other hosting. Which, you know, refreshing, right? :)
Thanks for the suggestions.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check into those. If any other outstanding company recommendations, I'd like to hear about them.
And if any of these companies offer referral discounts / credits to referrers, let me know.
Local hosting?
If you know any local based hosting companies, I just started a section on http://groups.drupal.org/vancouver/companies#hosting - add them!
