Suggestion for regular meetup dates
Sorry, I can't make it. I may have missed an earlier notification, but if I didn't it would be great to have a bit more warning.
For the joburg meetups we decided on one particular day each month. I think it was the first Wednesday of every month - that way, everyone was always aware of when the next one would be. Maybe we can think of that for the Cape town group (maybe add to your meeting agenda)?
Also, I do know how time consuming it can be to organise these meetings, so don't be shy to delegate responsibilities, or ask for volunteers to help out with the planning, creating of event notifications etc.

actually we do. the meetings are held on the the last wednesday of every month (it has been this way for the whole of last year). we specifically chose to do this for the reasons you just specified above.

Ah, I hadn't cottoned on to the fact that it was the last Wednesday of every month - now I know! I hadn't planned to be there on Wed, so the late notice might lead to me not being there. If I change my mind, I'll let you know asap! Good to hear Jonathan will be talking about Drupal 7 :)

Nice one guys! I'm looking forward to coming to one of your meets. I currently live in London and will be moving to CT at the end of the year (after drupalcon 2011 :-), hoping I can find a decent job by then. How many guys/girls usually come along to one of your meets?
