I am wondering about the setting for products in Ubercart, in the edit tab, if I scroll down there is a place to add the product's packaged dimensions. The Ubercart book I have says to put in "the length, height, and width" of the product . So do I enter the dimensions of the product itself or the box it is to be shipped in? Sorry, but it doesn't seem crystal clear to me (and I'm kinda a newbie here)

Hi,
I believe it depends on the shipping service that you are using. If I remember right it is used by UPS to calculate the shipping rate for each item. You can choose custom, which is where you see the LxWxH, or just use small box, large box, etc...
I put the dimensions of the box the item will be shipped in when I use the custom choice because I do not want my clients to lose money on the shipping. I believe there is an option to combine shipments if possible.

That is helpful, thanks. I did put the box dimensions in there as it doesn't give me option for small/large box. We are using UPS only at this point.
