I'll be heading up to Seattle Thursday night from Eugene, Oregon, and deciding between taking a bus / train, driving with people who want to carpool with me, or joining someone else whose driving (e.g., I can leave my car in Portland and join someone whose heading from Portland). Anyone else heading from Oregon and wanting to carpool? If so, please reply to this comment, or send me a message from my contact form.
Hey Brian, I would be interested in carpooling, too. I just signed up for the event so I need to check whether I'll make it on from the waitlist. I'll let you know.

Hello fellow Drupalites - My buddy Alex from Eugene and I are heading up to Seattle tonight at about 8pm - getting us to Seattle around 11:00pm - just in time for a night cap.
We plan on attending both sessions as well as the Camp Social at the end of the day on Saturday.
We plan on leaving Seattle early on Sunday around 8-9 am getting us back to Portland around 11-Noon.
If anybody else wants to join us and pitch in on the gasoline - we have 2 more seats in a comfy A/C rig (good chats and sweet tunes).
We (agrathea and I) plan to leave tonight, but cannot be certain when, due to our jumbled deadline-affected lives. We don't want to get in too late and we hope to leave by 8, but it could end up being 10 :P. We are staying at a hotel tonight and tomorrow night and plan to drive back Saturday night - plan flexible, probably after stopping by the social.
In any event, it is possible that we could combine car pools with someone going up with one party and coming back with the other.
I am new to this environment and wanted to know when the next camp will be starting... also if there are any other Drupal training sessions you can turn me on to... thanks.
DrupalCamp just took place for this year, I would imagine the next one would be next summer. You could look & see if there are camps still happening in other west coast cities.
Your best bet is to look online for screen casts about Drupal, e.g. ones done by the Lullabot folks, material in the Drupal Dojo, etc.
There are also some good books out about Drupal. (Be sure to get one that matches the version you're using--v5 or v6.)
