As some of you may already know DrupalAtlanta.com is in the process of redesigning their website. The organizers of the project hope to use the site redesign as a working laboratory to expose new members on how to build a Drupal site from the ground-floor. Look out for meeting updates about the monthly Drupal workshops being conducted!
However, first and foremost we need your input. We are in the process of defining the requirements and goals of the site and are looking for feedback on such things as:
- What type of features and functionality should be included?
- Have you seen any other user group sites that we could emulate or learn “best practices” from?
- What type of content would cause you to take notice and visit the site regularly?
- Any ideas on aesthetics and the overall look and feel?
This is a chance for you to get involved and let your voice be heard. We need volunteers who are willing to help with generating content, graphic design, and experienced Drupal developers/themers willing to mentor new users. Please share your ideas at an upcoming meeting or email dave dot terry at mediacurrent dot com by July 31st with your suggestions.
