The Atlanta Drupal Users Group is gearing up for this year's MiniCamp Online, a one-day, online-only Drupal Camp coming live to a browser near you on June 7! We had a great time last year but there's no resting on our laurels.

The 2012 Atlanta Drupal Business Summit is now open for registration! We will share actual Atlanta use cases of Drupal implementations, lessons learned, and gain insight into best practices. We are blocking off plenty of time for networking and will have an amazing line-up of speakers, and a reception directly afterwards.

We are excited to announce that planning is now well underway for Drupalcamp Atlanta 2011. We will have a Drupal Business Summit on Friday, September 30th, and the camp itself on Saturday, October 1st.

We will be back at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) in the heart of Atlanta, and hope to provide the same level of value previous sponsors have come to expect. We have a truly spectacular event planned - Drupalcamp Atlanta 2011 will consist of:

• An all-day Business Summit on Friday/Sept 30th for those evaluating or in the process of adopting Drupal

I am new to Drupal, and was wondering if anyone knows of a local training class in the Atlanta Area. I know a few basics and would like to learn more.

The inaugural Drupalcamp Atlanta is now open for registration, and will be held on Saturday, September 19th from 9am – 5pm on the beautiful campus of Kennesaw State University. Our mission and purpose is twofold: (1.) we want to educate people about Drupal and (2.) further evangelize Drupal within our geographic region.

I wanted to keep all ADUG members in the loop on our recent planning meeting that was held last week to primarily discuss organizational issues as we embark on 2009. Barb Prebble, Kent Lester, Mal Richards, Richard van Slyke, and myself have agreed to be the primary organizers. We tried to divide and conquer roles and responsibilities as much as we could and are in the process of firming up a long-term venue.

There will be a Drupal meet-up at Manuel's Tavern at 7pm on Tuesday, October 14th. The agenda is to divide and conquer various Drupal topics via small groups and breakout sessions - bring any of those lingering questions you might have about Drupal with you. The range of attendees varies from beginners to experienced developers.

Here are the details for the next Alpharetta based meet-up on Tuesday, Sept. 16th at 7pm. This should be a really exciting opportunity to look behind the curtain to see how a large, Atlanta based organization is utilizing Drupal.
