I have recently taken over the maintenance of the simplesamlphp_auth module, which is not currently hosted at Drupal.org. I would like to move the project to Drupal.org but wanted to follow the Drupal protocol of posting here for discussion first.
I know there is a Shibboleth module for Drupal. However, our module relies on simpleSAMLphp, an all PHP-based implementation of SAML, for connections to identity providers. There are a number of organizations using this module already and I believe the community and the module would benefit from the project being hosted at Drupal.org.
Any comments, questions, concerns?

WSOD
I attempted to implement this module, but upon installation, I immediately received the Drupal WSOD. I am using D7 with MSSQL on an IIS server. I also have several other modules that are enabled which may be causing a conflict, however, there is no way of knowing which, if any, are affecting it.
Using IIS and MSSQL
I'm curious if you ever got this working kpastore
Yes and No
I had to end up stepping back to D6 with IIS and MySQL (for this and other reasons). It works with that setup just fine.
Need some help... will pay
Hi Steve,
I could really use your help. I'm using simplesamlphp_auth with Drupal 6. I was able to get a round trip with the feide idp test site, but having trouble making it talk with another idp. Specifically, I need help understanding:
I can pay you for your time. I probably just need an hour of help over the phone. I'll send my phone number and skype to your email.
Thanks,
Joe
did you find someone to help you?
Hi Joe,
Just wondering if you were able to get the help you needed. I am also trying to use simplesamlphp_auth with Drupal 6 and have similar issues and similar questions so was wondering whether you could recommend someone that could help me. Like you, I am willing to pay.
Thanks,
Katrina
I can help
Katrina,
I addressed Joe's issues when he was having them. What are your symptoms? If you want to connect in a more efficient way I list some ways on my Drupal profile page http://drupal.org/user/1662

I have moved the project over to drupal.org. You can find the module at http://drupal.org/project/simplesamlphp_auth
The Drupal 7.x compatible module is available for download. It may take several hours before the 6.x release becomes available for download.
