I'm looking around not for direction on shrinking down a drupal site for mobile, but presenting entirely different content for mobile devices.
Looking at pages like - http://www.littlespringsdesign.com/mobilize/ - it's clear how mobile experience is often much more task focused than a web site.
I'd really like to get some direction about how to use Drupal to serve the "repetitive now", "bored now" & "urgent now" users for mobile devices - http://dev.opera.com/articles/view/designing-and-developing-mobile-web-s...
I've got through enough presentations & blog posts like http://www.cloudfour.com/presentation-mobile-web-on-drupal/ - to be impressed at the thought that has gone into Drupal & Mobile, but haven't seen much in terms of presenting a unique experience in http://m.example.com sites.
So if I think my top priorities for mobile users are A, B & C, what solutions do I have to make it dead simple for visitors using a mobile phone to quickly identify themselves & what type of content they want displayed. If they aren't satisfied by my choice of A, B & C, what are the options to give them the best minimized experience?
I'm thinking along the lines of a storyboard - http://www.presentationzen.com/presentationzen/2009/01/lessons-from-the-... - but am mostly getting direction on how to strip things away from the desktop experience rather than starting from the mobile & building out from there.
