Moving to Rochester

Hi all.

My name is Danilo Domínguez. I am from Panamá, a little country in Central America. This Saturday, March 5 I am moving to Rochester to take a pre-academic English Program at Rochester Institute of Technology and then maybe a Master in Computer Science.

I am the founder of the drupal group in Panamá and a big fan of drupal. I would like to join to this group during my stay in Rochester.

Yes, RIT would be a logical place to go for Drupal. You're aware that they intend to implement it across their entire campus, right?

Now I am just taking an Intensive English Course. Regarding with drupal at RIT, I didn't know that they intent to implement it across the campus.

I think I am going to be online during the next meeting because I don't know the place yet (Rochester and I don't have a car), so it's almost impossible to go to Buffalo.

From what little I know, Drupal is going pretty strong at RIT to the tune of dozens of sites, probably scaling to hundreds across departments.

...by four months or so, but I just stumbled across it while searching for something else and figured I'd respond. I'm a web manager at RIT and can confirm that we're using Drupal campus-wide for many dozens of sites. A campus-wide CMS solution has been a goal at RIT for many, many years and it's been great to see it actually come to be over the past 18 months or so. The amazing thing is how many non-technical content owners here know about Drupal and are excited about it.
