How to have several managers for the same group ?

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I have not found a FAQ on the site so I ask it here.

I would like to invite two people to become also managers of the group :

You can have a single manager (i.e the author of the group node) but you can have group admins -click on admin:create in the group members list.

Are you going for the group with the longest name;)

Seriously, I think it would be a great idea to allow multiple group managers. Too often people think that the one person listed is completely responsible for everything that happens. This puts too much pressure on one individual, especially for the larger groups, and creates the false impression that the manager "owns" the group. Its better to have a team.

Roles?

Can't you achieve what you want by creating roles allowed to do group management tasks and then assigning users to those roles?
