Same place, same time as the last few months. We're reorganizing the schedule a litlle bit, though -- this time we'll start with the showcases, then the presentation, then time for Q&A and discussion afterwards.

OK, sorry about that. Looks like my regional settings were off. See thread at http://drupal.org/node/309966 . In D7 this is set to in Configuration > Regional settings > First day of the week, and is set to Sunday by default. Setting it to Monday straightened things out.

I've got 2011.05.02 as a monday as well. I added it early both to get it on the calendar, and so that I can see what it looks like to have a few events in the page at the same time.
I've been experimenting with gdo's og-panels to see if we can't get a more useful homepage for the group... preliminary efforts here: http://groups.drupal.org/pittsburgh-and-southwestern-pa/new-home. I was thinking a set of tabs, something like:
With the homepage having a group description, logo, link to our page, etc. in the header, a promo for the next upcoming event large and at the top, and lists of recent discussions / jobs / other events beneath this promo in columns. I was thinking just titles, no teasers until you get to a tab-page. Let me know if there's other stuff we want up on home, or if anyone has an opinion about moving the 'river-of-news' view to inner, category-sorted pages.
If nobody has any objections, I'll try to work on the tab-pages tomorrow or over the weekend. I think it's a lot cleaner-looking, and makes it easier to get to the stuff you're looking for. Not sure how it might look to someone new to the group, so please weigh in.
We should probably start another discussion for this topic rather than having it here, though.

Note: If your directions take you to River Ave from the 31st Street Bridge, please note that you cannot access the bridge from PA 28 right now. You'll want to get off I-279 in Pittsburgh as if you're going to PNC Park and take Gen. Robinson to River Ave.
