Please could everyone who attended take a moment to share their opinions of the most recent Drupal Johannesburg meetup held on the 19th July 2008. The idea is to make each future event better than the last, but we can only do this if we know what you liked/disliked about any of the previous events. Use the comments of this post to share your feedback, and ideas. I created a short summary of the workshop here, for those that need a jogging of the mind.
Carl had some ideas about what to aim for in future meetups: "comprising a business section, skills development, and what’s current in Drupal". Roger thinks: "“Carl’s idea is a good one - to let this group be a practitioner group and we get to build stuff, learn from each other and acquire new skills. All in order to build towards a drupalcamp, I hope!”.

Drupal meetup first timer
Hi,
This was my first drupal meetup for me and I found it very interesting and beneficial. I like the casual feel.
I do agree with Carl suggestion though in terms of the future aims as this will grow the meetups to be a lot more beneficial as well as engaging. We could all then learn so much from each other in different aspects and not just drupal alone.
