Website workshop for business people (not programmers).

Launch your site at this 1-day workshop for on-the-move startups and small businesses. No programming involved.

The top people from 4 Boston web development shops work with you to flesh out your web strategy and implement the core focuses of sitebuilding:
- technology (Drupal, of course) led by Kay VanValkenburgh, Own Sourcing
- visual presentation led by Chris Burns, Fort Point Design
- copy writing led by Emily Trask, Solidus Editorial Solutions
- audience acquisition (PR & social media) led by Todd Van Hoosear, Fresh Ground

Format: mix of small group sessions and one-on-one work with topic experts.
Outcome: You leave with your business website online and with the practical skills needed for ongoing development.

Bring your positioning statement and your laptops. Each registrant receives a hosted website that is set up and ready to be customized. If you have a site already running on a Content Management System, you can opt to pick up from where you are and improve its effectiveness.

Registration includes: 2 months of hosting and phone/email support + continental breakfast + lunch
Registration $420 (discounts for Drupal.org members and students)
