Looking at lighty for the first time but wanted to know if/how people are using it with D7. I have a few sites running D6 I'm not concerned about based on everything I've read -- but knowing I can use it for future sites on D7 is quite important ;)
Can anyone weigh in on this?

I recently relaunched my personal blog on my VPS using D7, and locally I have a couple D7 instances running. I'm not doing anything more ambitious than a basic Drupal multisite set-up at this point, but everything seems to work fine.

Thanks so much for the info. Could you define "ambitious" to be a bit more concrete where you could anticipate having issues with lighttpd and D7? Are there certain hooks/modules that don't play nice?

It's not "ambitious" in that
Something "ambitious" will use some of the trickier Drupal configurations, such as multi-language sites or those using Organic Groups. I'm not doing anything really complex or unusual at this point (though I might be using OG for a personal project in the future).
That being said, I do not foresee any problems with Lighty and D7 that did not exist with Lighty and D6. Go for it.
