Hi, folks!

My name's Angie and I work for Lullabot, a Drupal consulting firm. I've been involved in the Drupal community for a little over a year, and originally came because I was accepted as a Google Summer of Code student. I help out in areas such as documentation, reviewing/testing core patches, have done quite a bit of work with Organic Groups, and so on.

I'm not actually anywhere near the Twin Cities (I live in Montreal), but my family lives in Rochester, so I wanted to subscribe to this group in case there's something happening when I'm home for holidays and that. :)

It's really cool to see that there's a Drupal community in Minneapolis/St, Paul!

Just found this group and what a great surprise, Angie from a podcast I listen to very regularly an MN expat.

Not sure you how much influence you have over the podcast content but how bout some more in depth example discussion or how to's that speak specifically about how drupal functions.

I've been a full time web developer for the last 10 years and have hacked into my share of open source applications but doing so with drupal definitely gets you in trouble. As you may expect I am speaking as one of those of us who hate to read manuals? Since you are a documentation person I hope I didn't offend, HA!
