BRILLIANT!
Thanks so much, I was just looking at my next Multi-site project and have decided to go with option "4.0 Domain Access Modules".
This saved me from having to 1)try to figure out all the shared tables I wanted, and 2) posting a topic asking for help to finish the list off as per my requirements. Wish me luck! (and hopefully it all works with drupal 6!)
