Panels 2 and FCKEditor

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Hi all,
I started playing with Panels 2 and I like it. However, I have FCKEditor installed but it is not loaded when editing the content of a panel. Looking at the page source of the editing page shows that no fckeditor js files are loaded. What do I have to do to use FCKEditor with panels?
Best regards,
George

I was able to get FCK

I was able to get FCK working with Panels. I cannot recall the exact problem that I had, but the solution was found in the settings for FCKeditor itself. I recommend filing an issue at http://drupal.org/project/fckeditor, or looking there for similar issues, and very carefully following the install instructions for Fckeditor, which can be tricky.

In comments or fields the fcke works, but not in the backend of the site where all is loaded with ajax.

I've got a module which I've created which I call 'Simple Panes' which is intended to lower the bar in terms of difficulty for adding panes. I have a number of users who will be publishing online for the first time ever. They want to be able to do simple things like including some formating of their text, and uploading images for display in a pane.

You can check out the Alpha version of this module here. Screen shots below as well.

Simple Panes Module

Main pane admin page:
Only local images are allowed.

Edit pane form:
Only local images are allowed.

I haven't put it on Drupal.org yet because I'm actually trying to reduce the number of modules I maintain.

looks good. I will try it on my dev-server. For a better communication, bug fixing and more users, it woul be nice to see it in the drupal module directory.

Yeah the problem is I don't

Yeah the problem is I don't have time to maintain it. If someone else wants to maintain it, they are welcome to do so, and I can send them the most recent version of the files ( I think you are right though, I've done one bug fix ).

I'd take a shot at
