Hello! Due to a recent change in schedule, September 9th at 4pm now works for me. Yay! Our conference room is also available. I would be happy to host the meeting if folks would be okay with a Champlain Mill, Winooski location.
Hmm. It's primary day for state elections (reps, senators, etc.) and a special vote in my town on a water bond issue. I'll just vote first thing in the a.m. and leave the p.m. open for VDUG. Winooski suits me just fine.
I've got wireless and a projector and I'm in downtown Burl. My office might be a bit cramped, depending on crowd size. My office space is roughly 20 feet x 30 feet.
If we do end up holding this meeting, I would love to show off our site. I am new to drupal and our site is new to drupal. I am working with a contractor to produce the site so I have just enough knowledge of drupal to be dangerous and not enough to fix anything :) The site is due to launch September 10 -- the day after this meeting! I am thinking that showing our site to other drupal folks would help me to spot problems that need fixing and identify goals for growing the site. Would this sort of "show and tell" be appropriate?
True. I figure, for risk management and expectations, it's helpful to be aware of problems even if I can't make the fixes right away. And, ideas for improvement are always fun to hear -- unlocking the possibilities helps me extend the vision for the site further into the future. I just keep adding to my punchlist and re-prioritizing as I learn new things. :)
Hello! I just spoke with Joe and we have agreed to hold tomorrow's meeting at PCC, in the Champlain Mill in Winooski, VT. The meeting will begin at 4pm. Wireless will be available.
The address for PCC is 1 Main Street, Suite 7, Winooski, VT 05404
Directions for folks coming from the South:
From I-89N take Exit 15
Left off the exit onto Route 15 East
Left onto Abenaki Way
Right on Winooski Falls Way (sign might say Winooskik)
Right on Cascade
Left into the garage
Directions for folks coming from the North:
From I89S take Exit 16
Right off the exit onto Route 7 South
Continue into the traffic circle (oval)
Exit the traffic circle in front of the Champlain Mill on Winooski Falls Way (sign might say Winooskik)
Left on Cascade
Left into the garage
About the garage:
Take the first entrance into the garage and take care to drive into the "non passholder" entry-way where there is free parking.
Mind the signs with the time limits as they do tow. Longer time limits are on the bottom floor of the garage.
From the garage, either walk out the way you came in or take the elevator/stairs to level 3 which will bring you out toward the traffic circle. Walk toward the river -- the Champlain Mill has green and white striped awnings over its doors. At the Champlain Mill take the curvy ramp to the lower entrance. PCC is directly ahead when you come in this way.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hi y'all. Wish I could make it but I am booked into a commitment today. I thoroughly enjoyed last month's, and already sorely miss being there this afternoon. Hope someone, anyone, is taking something like meeting minutes.

Wireless?
Erica,
do you have wireless in your office? Winooski would work for me. The Monkey House (watering hole) is just a stroll from your office right?
I'll check in w/ my officemates today re my office availability for the 9th.

Wireless
Yes, we have wireless access.
Is The Monkey nearby?
Yes. I'm pretty sure it's still there... I have a difficult time keeping track. New things are springing up left and right over here.
My Office is available too

I'm happy to go over the bridge to Winooski.
What does the crowd prefer?

new site
Seems OK to me Erica.
Not that you'll have much chance for changes in a day!

I expect to be there. I've got a pair of sunglasses that someone had left behind at the last meeting at NECI. I'll bring 'em along.
