Is there any way for this not to be an "event"?
Using this content type means it shows up in the official Drupal calendar at http://groups.drupal.org/events. That page is very cluttered to begin with, and adding such a long title to every day for the next 3 months makes it even worse.
Agreed, this should not be an event
I've changed the dates of the event from May 1 to May 1 in order to prevent it from cluttering up the main calendar.
It really should be taken down and reposted as a job or a discussion, rather than as an event, but as long as the dates remain as they are, I suppose it can stay. It's just not going to be as effective.
