For over 2 years now the Boston User Group monthly meetup at MIT continues over beers and pizza at the Muddy Charles Pub. Now our beloved Muddy's future is in jeopardy and needs your help.

The future of the Muddy Charles Pub is in jeopardy. The MIT administration is working to renovate Walker Memorial (W50) and repurpose the building for Music and Theater Arts. The administration has made no commitment that following the renovation, the Pub would be allowed to remain in its current location, nor has there been an offer for alternative space. It is our position that the Muddy Charles Pub is a unique institution and, for the benefit of the MIT community, it should stay put. If you are interested in being up to date on the future of Walker Memorial and the Pub and/or are in support of the Pub remaining in existence in its current location, please join our contact list at www.savethemuddy.com.
