Chattanooga Drupal Meetup May 10th - Building an eCommerce site in 2 hours.

So it's that time of the month again.
It seems we are unable to have the meet at Covenant college, as it's end of the school year. I'm busy trying to arrange a different venue. I'll post more location details when I get a place sorted out - but we will meet...... somewhere.

This months meetup will be "Building an eCommerce site in 2 hours".
That's right, from nothing to accepting credit cards in 2 hours. Cart, Checkout, everything. Even reports.
I will use Drupal Gardens (http://www.drupalgardens.com), and Cashie (http://www.cashie.biz).
I will also build this site without writing a single line of code.

It is intended as a follow along, hands on, session. At the end of it, everyone will have a working eCommerce site running on Drupal Gardens. This is a real tangible thing you can sell to clients. You can thank me later.
So everyone will need free accounts on Drupal Gardens and Cashie. We can do that the night of the meet if you don't have one already.

Cashie makes eCommerce sites easy to set up on Drupal Gardens. There are a couple of gotcha's, but nothing without an easy work around.
It's not really for sites with hundreds of items or more to sell, they'll need a more robust eCommerce solution like Drupal Commerce in a full Drupal install. But for sites with 10's of items to sell, it's a great solution. And there are paying clients to be had.
