Join us on Saturday, May 21st, 2011 from 1-4PM for a 3-hour meetup at MindComet's offices in Altamonte Springs.

Andrew will be covering an introduction to Multilingual in Drupal 6 and we'll be working on the CFCS Coding for a Cause site that we failed to finish during Florida DrupalCamp 2011.

If anybody would like to remotely attend let me know and we can set something up.

Yesterday's Central Florida meetup was attended by about 12 people, topics covered include:

  • Andrew Riley presented on building a multilingual site.
  • We did a quick walkthrough of using Drupal 7's menus and blocks as well as some minor theming tweaks to help out one of the attendees with a project.
  • We discussed Florida DrupalCamp 2012 (http://groups.drupal.org/node/150239)
  • We attempted to figure out what was up with all the VIP/Group stuff on the CFCS web site that we're in the process of building for Coding for a Cause. We decided that Andrew will talk to Hewie and Gaelan about what is there, but we're pretty sure that we're going to tear it all down and start over with the VIP/Groups implementation. This will be done at the June meetup. We're talking about inviting virtual attendees, so if anyone has any ideas for rock-solid technologies for making this happen, please chime in!
