At drupalcon we had the opportunity to merge our BoF. Today we like to go back to the IAPP: exchanging people between academia and industry. We have a skype conference to see if people like to work on an exchange program.

The agenda will depend on the comments.
I suggest you explain your interest. Are you part of a research team or are you a commercial team? What would be your interest in (research goal, partner) ?
About IAPP
The Industry-Academia Partnerships and Pathways Focus on small exchange program where industry and academia exchange staff (in both directions). The goal is to create small groups (1 university, 1 company) with a specific research goal. The call will support the costs for traveling and living abroad. Their is also a bit of resources for workshops as well (can't be the focus of the call!)
About the merge
Our BoF was about supporting research and development with Drupal, by investigating a FP7 IAPP. The other BoF was Hacking climate change by semantic web. It was nice to combine the incentive to support research and a concrete research idea. It may be a nice idea to have hacking climate change as one of the research goals. Still its up to you.
