DrupalCamp and Event Organizing Guide - needs input

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

The first draft of version 2 of the DrupalCamp and Event Organizers Guide has recently been completed. Thanks to everyone who has helped out so far, but I'd like to encourage a little more participation at this point in order to add additional examples and ideas to future Drupal event organizers.

Specifically, I'd love for other camp and event organizers to add links to the document in various places. For example, there's a section for adding links to post-camp wrap-ups and case studies. There are a number of places within the document where additional links and information would be useful.

A quick way of searching for these spots within the document are by searching for the phrase "Others?" The following is a list of the type of information that is being requested:

  • finding volunteers
  • target audience
  • setting a date
  • securing a venue
  • finding sponsors
  • marketing
  • organizational tools
  • registration fees
  • sessions
  • sample budgets
  • legal entities
  • sponsorship tiers
  • sponsorship pitch letters
  • t-shirt sizes
  • giveaways
  • post-camp surveys
  • post-event case studies and wrapups
  • additional resources

Expansion plans

I'm wondering how you envision this doc changing as info is added.
I could probably expand Food/Drink by 2x, but wonder if you thought this might eventually be broken out into multiple wiki pages, or if the general idea is to have a tight-as-possible unified doc?
Nobody wants 50+ fragmented pages, but there might be some broad divisions that would make sense, based on either topic, or on timeline.
