Portable web server

Hi again..

I have a scenario and i was wondering if anyone knows of a solution. ok...

I have 2 machines, Mac at the office and windows on a laptop, I want to be able to develop the same drupal website on both machines, i.e. work on it at the office and when i go home carry on working on it using the laptop. So i thought of some sort of usb webserver of sorts so that it takes the website and database wherever i go so I can continue working on it seamlessly and I am not sure if i want to work on it from online. Quicker on local machine.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

PortableApps has an XAMPP package, it works reasonably well and has all the latest software.

You can get it from http://portableapps.com/apps/development/xampp
